A Little Bit About Me

“I’m a Chicagoan, til Chicago ends”

Here’s a little bit about me as a person! I believe it’s nice to know people on a professional and personal level, so here’s a few fun facts.

When I’m not thinking about ways to optimize processes or creating far reaching marketing plans, I enjoy a wide variety of activities that help me build community and unwind.

Who Am I?

  • Sports

I’m a huge basketball fan. If I’m not on the court doing my best Dennis Rodman impression (rebounds only, none of the antics), you can find me at the United Center watching the Chicago Bulls attempt to win a game, or using NBA League Pass to watch the New Orleans Pelicans play the Toronto Raptors on a random Tuesday.

  • Food

I’m all about finding the best cuisine in any city I’m in. While my favorite option is Chinese, I frequently support international restaurants as a way to experience food from different cultures. Living in Chicago, finding new spots to try out is easy, so I take full advantage!

  • Hip Hop

Music is the heartbeat of my existence. Since a young age I’ve been collecting CDs (I’m up to ~1,000), going to concerts (I’ve been to almost 400 to date), and curating soundtracks to life events (my playlist making is next level).

  • Movies

There’s no better way to unwind on the weekends than by immersing yourself in a great movie. If a movie was directed by Christopher Nolan, Ryan Coogler, Paul Thomas Anderson, or Jordan Peele, you can bet that I’ll see it! Favorite genres: comedy, action, thrillers, heists

  • Reading

I’m a huge fan of musician autobiographies (their journeys are fascinating), self help books, and anything basketball related. Favorite authors: Shea Serrano, Hanif Abdurraqib, Jonathan Abrams.

  • Gaming

After I’ve run out of Bulls games to watch or a few chapters in a great book, I like playing video games with my friends. My dad introduced me to video games at an early age, and it’s been something I’ve used to relax ever since.
